RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #1694 FOR
A HOME BUSINESS (STORAGE OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS - STEEL DOORS
AND FRAMES) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - KEITH THOENE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 24th day of June,
2009, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers of the Board, for the purpose of hearing the
application of Keith Thoene, 1365 West Mulberry Lane, Highlands Ranch, Colorado 80129, for a
Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1694 for a Home Business
(storage of construction materials - steel doors and frames) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District,
on the following described real estate, being more particularly described as follows:
Lot B of Recorded Exemption #3050; being part of
the E1/2 NE1/4 of Section 25, Township 1 North,
Range 65 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, at said hearing, the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to
July 29, 2009, to allow adequate time for review of the matter by the Planning Commission, which
previously continued its hearing on the matter to July 7, 2009, and
WHEREAS, at said hearing on July 29, 2009, upon the recommendation of staff, the
Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to October 28, 2009, to allow additional time
for review of the matter by the Planning Commission, which further continued the hearing on the
matter to October 6, 2009, and
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of staff and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be approved
and the matter should be continued to October 28, 2009, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
October 28, 2009, at 10:00 a.m.
