Re: Weld County Properties
Schenk wells
Located in Section 35
Weld County, Colorado
Dear Ms. Arries:
Pursuant to your several requests for ownership breakdown of the Schenk wells, I am
enclosing a spreadsheet that provides well names, spacing unit information, mineral
interest information, royalty interest information and the calculations as to how Weld
County's RI was derived.
Please note that the yellow highlight will be on the lines under which Weld County
owns a MI/RI; the pink highlight will be used on the lines under which Weld County
DOES NOT OWN a MI/RI; and the blue highlight will be used on the lines under which
we have recently ordered new title opinions or under which another company is to
provide title opinions to Noble. This should be helpful to you for your use In
determining your RI in future wells in Section 35, too.
If you have any questions, or if you require additional information, please do not
hesitate to contact the undersigned at the letterhead address, or by calling 303-228-
4287, or via email at Ijohnson@nobleenergvinc.com.
Sincerely,
NOBLE ENERGY, INC.

Dear Ms. Johnson:
This letter is written as a follow-up to my earlier letters of January
7, 2009, and February 9, 2009, regarding the completion of the drilling
of the above -described well. (Copy enclosed)
Weld County is not disputing that it has an interest in the property or
in the royalty interest you have calculated. However, as the County is
attempting to create more complete and detailed records, we have been
requesting that the producers provide us with a basis for the
calculation of the decimal interest, or at least with some information
such as an excerpt of a title opinion that verifies that Weld County
has the interest in the described area of each division Order issued
involving the County. Others in your company have provided the County
with the title information.
Weld County has historical information for its interest in the NW and
NE quarters of Section 35, but nothing which verifies its interest in
the SW or SE quarters of Section 35. We greatly appreciate your
assistance in this matter.

above -described well. (Copy enclosed)
We are not disputing Weld County's interest in the property or in the
royalty interest you have calculated. However, as the County is
attempting to create more complete and detailed records, we have been
requesting that the producers provide us with some information
confirming Weld County's interest. Other individuals in your
organization have provided Weld County with excerpts from title
opinions confirming the County's interest in particular wells; I am
requesting similar information from you. We do have other confirmed
interests in other wells in Section 35: this is the first time we have
received information stating that we have an interest in the NW
quadrant.
Therefore, we are asking that you provide us with some information
confirming Weld County's interest in this portion of Section 35.
Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

DECIMAL INTEREST

Noble Energy Inc. has successfully drilled and completed the above referenced property as a producing gas well. First
sales occurred February 13, 2008. According to our records, the interest shown above represents your total share of
production. Noble will tender payment to you based upon the stated interest UNLESS you notify Noble, in writing,
that said interest is incorrect or that you are not the owner of said interest.
As the owner of the above interest, you shall have the sole liability to notify Noble, in writing, of any address changes
and/or changes in ownership. Until such written notification is received by Noble, payments will continue as
previously described.
For your information, Noble makes revenue disbursements on a monthly basis. Please be advised, however, that
payments are made upon accrual of twenty five dollars ($25.00) for all of the properties paid to you by our company or
annually, on amounts less than twenty five dollars ($25.00).
You are currently being paid the same interest on other wells within this same spacing, therefore, please be advised that
Noble does not require a signed Division Order as a prerequisite for payment. This Payment Letter is intended to
replace the traditional division order form and should be retained for your records.
If there are any questions concerning this matter, please contact the undersigned.
