Subject: Legal Action Authorization
The Department of Building Inspection has scheduled the following violations to be considered at the May 12,
2009, hearing beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Department of Building Inspection is requesting that the Board review
the individual cases and determine whether or not to authorize legal action to remedy the violations.
Weld County Building Violation Cases:
VI -0400315, Rodger L and Francis R Steinke
Chapter 29, Article III, Section 29-3-50; Chapter 29, Article III, Section 29-3-160
The business shall be removed from the property and a permit application and all applicable documentation
shall be submitted to change the use of the building to personal use, fees paid, the permit issued, and all
inspections completed.
BCV08-00142, Josefina Clifton
Chapter 29, Article III, Section 29-3-10; Chapter 29, article VIII, Section 29-8-40
The required information needed to complete processing of the permit for a 2 -story accessory structure under
construction shall be submitted, fees paid, the permit issued, and all inspections completed.
A permit application and all applicable documentation shall be submitted to re -permit the covered deck and
porch, fees paid, the permit issued, and all inspections completed OR a letter stating the deck and porch will
not be built at this time and a new application will be submitted in the future if construction proceeds and an
inspection scheduled to verify there has been no construction.

The Department of Planning Services staff has scheduled the following violations to be considered at the

The manufactured structures shall be removed or a Use by Special Review (USR) application shall be
submitted to the Department of Planning Services.
