RE: OPENING A PORTION OF FIFTH STREET IN THE UNINCORPORATED
TOWN OF GILL, WELD COUNTY, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, a petition has been received in the office of the Board of
County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, requesting that Fifth Street
between Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue and between Blocks 18 and 23, in the
unincorporated Town of Gill, Weld County, Colorado, be opened to serve the
necessities of the public, more specifically that portion of Fifth Street between
Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue in the unincorporated Town of Gill, Weld County,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colo-
rado, after investigation of the facts and circumstances of the petition and
request for opening of said road, and upon good cause shown, believes it to be
in the best interest of the County to open said road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that a portion of Fifth Street, specifi-
cally that portion of said Fifth Street between Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue and
between Blocks 18 and 23, in the unincorporated Town of Gill, Weld County,
Colorado, be, and it hereby is declared open.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, . on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 9th day of July, A.D. , 1975.

ROAD PETITION
TO THE HONORABLE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WELD COUNTY, COLORADO
GENTLEMEN:
We, the undersigned, Citizens of your County, respectfully represent that the necessi-
ties of the public require that a public highway be constructed, pursuant to and in
accordance with that Resolution of the Board of County Commissioners of the County of
Weld, State of Colorado, passed and adopted on the 12th day of October, A. D. 1889,
which resolution is recorded
We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be constructed a public highway
as below described.
Town of Gill
Road to run North and South between 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue
Between Block 18, Lots 12-21, and Block 23, Lots 1-5
