SUBJECT: USR-1691 SANCHEZ (PUBLIC SEWER)
DATE: August 4, 2009
The attached map shows the location of the existing municipal sewer line in green. The
red lines indicate the distance from the existing municipal sewer line to the property line.
The distance from the existing municipal sewer line to the shop structure is over 400
feet. I have provided below the section from the Weld Count y Code as well as the
State Regulations that stipulate when an individual sewage disposal system permit
should not be issued due to the location of a public sewer system.
Weld County regulations:
Except as provided in this Chapter, no individual sewage disposal system permit shall
be issued to any person when the subject dwelling, place of business or institution is
located within four hundred (400) feet of a sewer line of a municipality or special district
which provides public sewer service, except where such sewer service to the structure
is not feasible in the determination of the municipality or special district.
State regulations:
Except as provided in these guidelines, No individual sewage disposal system permit
shall be issued to any person when the subject property is located within a municipality
or special district which provides public sewer service, except where such sewer service
to the structure is not feasible in the determination of the municipality or special district.
