RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING CONTRACT AMENDMENT #1 FOR WELD
COUNTY EMERGENCY EARLY WARNING AND SHELTER SYSTEM PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with Contract Amendment #1 for the Weld
County Emergency Early Warning and Shelter System Project between the County of Weld, State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the
Office of Emergency Management, and the Colorado Department of Local Affairs, commencing
upon full execution, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said amendment, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to continue the matter to
September 28, 2009, to allow the Director of Administrative Services additional time to review a
portion of specific language within the amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to September 28,
2009, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolutiop-was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 21st day of September, A.D., 2009.
