RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO NORTHEAST COLORADO REGIONAL EMERGENCY
MEDICAL AND TRAUMA SERVICES ADVISORY COUNCIL (RETAC)
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Northeast Colorado Regional Emergency
Medical and Trauma Services Advisory Council (RETAC), and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Travis Polk be appointed to said board as the
regular member representative, to replace Donovan Ehrman; and that Sandra Gehl be appointed
as the alternative representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Travis Polk and Sandra Gehl to said
board, with terms to expire June 30, 2011.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Travis Polk and Sandra Gehl be, and hereby are, appointed to the
Northeast Colorado Regional Emergency Medical and Trauma Services Advisory Council (RETAC),
with terms to expire June 30, 2011.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 22nd day of July, A.D., 2009.
