RE: APPROVAL OF HAROLD VIENOT' S REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF TIME
OF COMMERCIAL UNIT DEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, at a regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of
County Commissioners, held the 8th day of August, 1977, the
Board reviewed the request for extension of Harold Vienot' s
Commercial Unit Development, and
WHEREAS, the Board has reviewed the recommendations of the
Weld County Planning Commission for approval of said extension
of time, and has heard the comments of the staff of the Depart-
ment of Planning Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request for exten-
sion of time for a Commercial Unit Development of Harold Vienot ' s
be approved with an extension to May 26 , 1978 .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that the reasons for approval contained
in the Planning Commission Recommendations dated July 19 , 1977 ,
be, and hereby are, incorporated as the findings of fact of the
Board of County Commissioners in this matter.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 8th day of
August, A.D. , 1977.

Having been delayed by circumstances beyond nr -control, in
starting constriction on the above described piece of property, I
hereby submit for your approval, a request for a one year extension
on the -zoning. ny reasons for _requesting a one year extension
in place of 6 months, are as follows.
1. I filed application with Public Service for a gas tap last Jan-
uary, and from all indications it could be mid winter or later
before I receive service. It is imperative that I have plenty
of heat available for paint roam drying -and for plastic lamination
which requires a minimum temperature of 75 degrees.
2. I am_ec eduled for hospitalization and surgery late this fall and
feel it wise to see thin through before making any move.
I have planted several evergreen trees on the property in
compliance with the agreement, have removed an unsightly road fence,
built up the approach to the property and will have the well drilled
before Oct. 15th. The building site is staked out and the land is
kept under cultivation and free of weeds, making it acceptable to those
around.
I trust this request meets with your approval and would thank
you for your consideration.
