HomeMy WebLinkAbout20090495271 RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE ASSIGNMENT OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE TO WATER VALLEY METROPOLITAN DISTRICT NO. 1 AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Weld County holds a Tax Lien Sale Certificate No. 850/05 for the following described Real Property: Part of the SW 1/4 of Section 21, Township 6 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado; being more fully described within the attached Certificate WHEREAS, said property is located within Water Valley Metropolitan District No. 1, and part of an ornamental water fountain located near the entrance to the Water Valley subdivisions in Windsor, Colorado, and WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of Weld County and Water Valley Metropolitan District No. 1 that the property be owned by Water Valley Metropolitan District No. 1, and WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve the assignment of the Tax Lien Sale Certificate No. 850/05 to Water Valley Metropolitan District No. 1, and to authorize the Chair to sign said Certificate to effectuate said assignment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the assignment of Tax Lien Sale Certificate No. 850/05 to Water Valley Metropolitan District No. 1 be, and hereby is, approved.
