How do we get the details regarding the request for expansion of the stormwater pond,
commodity area and compost area at the Johnson Dairy? It appears that they are requesting
after -the -fact approval for expansions of areas already in use. We are deeply concerned
about any changes at the dairy given the fact that they have never met all of the
requirements of the original expansion.
Any information you will provide would be greatly appreciated. We, and other neighboring
property owners, will be attending the July 7 meeting in regards to the Dairy.
Thank you.

Johnson Dairy
Is it correct that the Johnson Dairy public hearing is now scheduled August 19th?
I also have a question. How is it that seven agencies (5 county plus the Galeton Fire
department and Petro Canada Resources) gave preliminary approval (in their application
referral notes) to an after the fact expansion?
Thank you.

Dear Mr. Naylor:

RECEIVED
On May 28, 2009 we received a letter from your office regarding the captioned Amended Use by
Special Review #1282 permit with Weld County on the Johnson Dairy property. The expansion of
the Johnson Dairy Farm as depicted in the plat provided by your firm, does not cause Petro -Canada
Resources (USA) Inc. ("PCR") any immediate concerns with the proposed expansion as long as:
a) PCR's ability to service our existing wells and tank batteries as shown on the attached
Exhibit "A" is not disrupted and;
b) PCR's future drill site location in the center of the SW/4 of section 1-6N-R65W and all
associated facilities, as shown on Ex. A is protected.
Please review our above concerns and let me know prior to your hearing on July 7, 2009 if the
above stated accommodations can be met.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call me at the number below.
Sincerely,

In response to your letter dated July 1, 2009, regarding the Amended Use by Special Review # 1282 for
Johnson Dairy, the expansion of the dairy will not disrupt Petro -Canada Resources (USA) Inc. (PCR) ability
to service the existing well and tank batteries as shown on your attached Exhibit "A". No structures are
proposed to be built within these locations and accesses will be maintained.
PCR's future drill site location in the center of the SW 1/4 of section 1 T6N, R65W and all associated
facilities, as shown in Exhibit "A" shall be protected. This is the compost storage area and no structures are
proposed to be built within this location.
The expansion of Johnson Dairy will not impact Petro -Canada Resources (USA) Int.'s ability to service their
mineral interests within the USR boundary as proposed in the Amended Use by Special Review #1282 with
respect to Exhibit "A".
