RE: INSTALLATION OF "STOP" SIGNS AND "STOP AHEAD" SIGNS ON
COUNTY ROAD 13, BETWEEN COUNTY ROADS 38 AND 40 AND IN-
STALLATION OF "STOP" SIGN ON COUNTY ROAD 2 , BETWEEN
COUNTY ROADS 11 AND 13 .
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statue and the Weld. County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHERAS, the Weld County Department of Engineering Services
has recommended to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that a "Stop" sign be installed on County Road
2, between County Roads 11 and 13 and "Stop" and "Stop Ahead"
be installed on County Road 13 , between County Roads 38 and 40 ,
and,
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied the
recommendations of the Department of Engineering Services and
has determined that said signs are necessary for the protection
of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the Department of
Engineering Services is directed to install "Stop" signs on County
Road 2, between County Roads 11 and 13 and "Stop" and "Stop Ahead"
signs on County Road 13, between County Roads 38 and 40 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 3rd day of
April, A.D. , 1978.

subjec,: Stop Sian and Stop Ahead Installations on County Road 2 •
and County Road -3 —_._--
To insure safety to the traveling public , I would recommend that a
stop sign be installed at the railroad crossing on County Road 2 ,
between County Roads 11 and 13 as per attached sheet . I would also
recommend that a stop and stop ahead sign be installed on County
Road 13 , between County Roads 38 and 40 .
Would you please adopt the necessary resolutions for these traffic
sign installations .
