RE: ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT #1709 FOR A
MINERAL RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT FACILITY, INCLUDING AN OIL AND GAS
SUPPORT FACILITY IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT-SUNCOR ENERGY
(USA) PIPELINE COPMANY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing on the 4th day of
November, 2009, at the hour of 10:00 a.m. in the Chambers of the Board for the purpose of hearing
the application of Suncor Energy (USA) Pipeline Company, c/o TetraTech, 1900 South Sunset,
Suite 1-F, Longmont, Colorado 80501, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special
Review Permit #1709 for a Mineral Resource Development Facility, including an Oil and Gas
Support Facility, in the A (Agricultural) Zone District on the following described real estate, to -wit:
Lot A of Amended Recorded Exemption #2918; being
part of the NW1/4 of Section 20, Township 2 North,
Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado
WHEREAS, at said hearing the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to
December 16, 2009, to allow the applicant's representative adequate time to address the concerns
of surrounding property owners and the Department of Public Works, and
WHEREAS, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of the applicant and, having been fully informed, finds that this request be
approved and the matter should be continued to December 16, 2009, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to
December 16, 2009, at 10:00 a.m.
