I was able to review all the Sheriff's Office bids you supplied to me the week of the 5`h. I have met
with each division requesting vehicles and have the following recommendation;
The low bid for the 09 Jeep Grand Cherokee does not meet several minimum bid specs; most
importantly this vehicle contains a floor console shifter which will not accommodate our radio and
computer console.
The 2"d bid from Lakewood Fordland for a 09 Ford Expedition meets specs for $25,443.
We recommend that the bid for the SUV for Investigations be awarded to Lakewood Fordland in
the amount of $25,443.
The budget for this line item was $28,000.
PURCHASING NOTE:
Local bid from Spradley-Barr was the 3'd low hid with a bid of 527,003.00 which is 5.7% greater
then Lakewood Fordland.
