WHEREAS, heretofore and on August 19, 1970, the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, by Resolution did establish a
Utilities Coordinating Advisory Committee in Weld County, and
WHEREAS, the qualifications and manner of appointment of the members
thereof were strictly restricted to residents of Weld County, and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Board that the member-
ship of said Committee should not be restricted to residents of Weld County,
and
WHEREAS, said Committee has by Resolution made certain recom-
mendations to the Board, and
WHEREAS, the Board believes it to be in the best interests of the County
to follow the recommendations of the Committee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Resolution of August
19, 1970, be, and it hereby is amended in the following respects, to-wit:
1 . That the membership of the Utilities Coordinating Advisory
Committee remain at seven (7) members, all of whom shall be
voting members, and further providing for alternates as recom-
mended by said Committee in its Resolution of April
12th , 1976, copy attached hereto and made a part
hereof.
2. That members of the Committee shall not be restricted to
residents of Weld County if they are in fact employed by utilities
serving Weld County with home offices located outside of Weld
County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all other terms and conditions as
contained in the hereinabove mentioned Resolution of August 19, 1970, shall
remain in full force and effect.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of May, A. D. , 1976.
