RE: APPROVAL TO CONTINUE THE 50% SHARE OF COUNTY FUNDING OF/1):cY JACOB DIAZ ' SALARY FROM JANUARY 1, 1979 TO DECEMBER 31,
1979 , FOR HIS SERVICES TO WELD COUNTY GOVERNMENT AS AN
INTERPRETER.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , in the 1979 Budget, the Board of County Commis-
sioners has approved the continuation of 50% of the share of
Jacob Diaz ' contract services salary from January 1, 1979 to
December 31, 1979 at a level 5% above the 1978 funding level for
the use of Jacob Diaz ' services as an interpreter , and
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners recognizes the
continued need for Jacob Diaz ' contract services in the District
Attorney' s Office, Weld County Health Department, and Weld County
Attorney' s Office.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that 50% of the share of
the contract salary of Jacob Diaz shall be continued at a level
five percent (5%) above the 1978 contract salary level in which
the County shared in 50%.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of
December, A.D. , 1978.
