Dear Mr. Miller:
Your lease between Weld County and Miller Livestock covering land
known as the Bakerink Lot located on East 8th Street on the former
Davis Ranch expires by its own terms effective January 1, 1979.
Paragraph 1 of the lease provides that the lease shall continue
in effect from January 1, 1976 for a period not to exceed three (3)
consecutive years .
The Board of County Commissioners wish to advise you that they
are terminating the lease effective January 1, 1979 and will be
re-advertising this lease for new bids.
You will, of course, be notified of the time and place for the
submission of bids in the very near future.

Dear Mr. Law:
Pursuant to our discussions at the work session held with the
Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado on
Monday, September 18 , 1978 and further pursuant to a resolution
passed by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado on September 18, 1978 , the Board of County Commissioners
has asked me to inform you that they will be re-bidding the
lease on the 800 acre tract of land located immediately East of
Greeley, Colorado in Sections 1, 2 , 11 , and 12 , all in Township 5
North of Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. , and commonly known as
the "Davis Ranch" for a lease term to commence on March 1 , 1979 .
As you know, your current lease expires by its own terms on
March 1, 1979 and the object and purpose of this letter is to
inform you that Weld County will effectuate termination of the
lease on that date.
You will, of course, be notified of the date for submission of
bids for the term to commence March 1, 1979 and will further be
advised as to whether or not the entire tract will again be
available for lease.
