Home My WebLink About760012.tiff RESOLUTION RE : RESCISSION OF RESOLUTION DATED FEBRUARY 11 , 1976 , REZONING THE EAST HALF OF THE SOUTHEAST QUARTER ( EZSE4) OF SECTION 10 , TOWNSHIP 2 NORTH , RANGE 68 WEST OF THE SIXTH P . M . , WELD COUNTY , COLORADO FROM " C" COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TO "A" AGRI- CULTURAL DISTRICT . WHEREAS , on February 11 , 1976 , the Board of County Commiss- ioners , Weld County , Colorado , adopted a resolution to rezone from "C" Commercial District to "A" Agricultural District a parcel of land described as follows : The East Half of the Southeast Quarter ( EZSE4) of Section 10 , Township 2 North , Range 68 West of the Sixth P . M. , Weld County , Colorado , and WHEREAS , Counsel for the owners of said property has ex- pressed concern whether the procedures preceding the above des- cribed rezoning action were proper , and WHEREAS , it is the policy of the Board of County Commissioners to assure a full and fair hearing on all matters before it , NOW , THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED , BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMM- ISSIONERS , WELD COUNTY , COLORADO , that the resolution dated Feb- ruary 11 , 1976 , rezoning the above described property be , and hereby is , rescinded , and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED , that the owners of the subject property are hereby granted a period six months from this date in which to comply with the conditions placed upon the property when it was originally zoned " C" Commercial in 1968 , and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED , that failure on the part of the owners of the subject property to so develop the property within the six month period shall cause the Board to initiate proceedings for a show cause hearing to rezone the property to "A" in accordance with Section 8 . 4 of the Weld County Zoning Resolution . The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made and seconded , adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of December , A. D . ,- ;,tiy 1976 .
