RE: ESTABLISH CHANGE FUND FOR SHERIFF'S OFFICE, WORK RELEASE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from the Sheriff's Office that a Change Fund,
in the amount of $100.00, be established for use in the Work Release facility, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Administration and the Controller have
recommended approval of said request, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, deems it
advisable and in the best interests of Weld County to approve said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that a Change Fund, in the amount of $100.00, be, and hereby is, established
for the Sheriffs Office, Work Release.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 18th day of March, A.D., 2009.

Subject: Petty Cash Request
Weld County Work Release has recently had a 10 -printer and mug shot system installed
in their facility. They will be doing all the non -custodial finger prints at this location. There is a
$10.00 charge for this booking process. The Sheriffs Office is requesting a petty cash fund of
$100.00 to make change on these fees. Please send this request to the Board of Commissioners
for approval. Thank you for your assistance.
