RE: AGREEMENT BETWEEN WELD COUNTY AND AFFILIATED
BANKS SERVICE COMPANY-GREELEY DIVISION OF GREELEY,
COLORA DO.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the present accounting system
within the Weld County Assessor's office and within the Weld County Trea-
surer's office are in need of revision and change, and
WHEREAS, the Affiliated Banks Service Company-Greeley Division
of Greeley, Colorado, hereinafter referred to as ABSC has submitted an
agreement to provide and perform professional computor services for the
Weld County Assessor's office and the Weld County Treasurer's office in
the form of property appraisal accounting for the Assessor's office and
property tax accounting for the Treasurer's office, all in accordance with
agreement attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference, including
Exhibit A attached thereto, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado,
believes it to be in the best interests of the County to enter into such an agree-
ment on the basis recited therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Com-
missioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the agreement submitted by ABSC
providing professional computor property appraisal accounting for the
Assessor's office and property tax accounting for the Treasurer's office, all
as set forth in said agreement, including Exhibit, copy of which is attached
hereto and made a part hereof by reference, be, and it hereby is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board be, and it hereby is
authorized to execute the agreement as submitted and to make the same
effective forthwith.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 29th day of October, A. D„
1975.

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, Made and entered into this 29th
day of October , 197 5 , by and between AFFILIATED
BANKS SERVICE COMPANY-GREELEY DIVISION OF GREELEY,
COLORADO, hereinafter referred to as ABSC, and THE COUNTY
OF WELD OF THE STATE OF COLORADO, A Political Subdivision,
hereinafter referred to as Weld,
WITNESSETH, THAT:
WHEREAS, ABSC is engaged in the commercial activity of
computer data processing and proposes to perform services for
Weld in the form of Property Appraisal Accounting for the Weld
County Assessor's Office and Property Tax Accounting for the Weld
County Treasurer's Office, which is set forth on Exhibit A, and
which by reference is made a part hereof, and,
WHEREAS, Weld desires to employ the services of ABSC for
such purposes,
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises
and covenants of the parties as are hereinafter contained, and for
the further consideration hereinafter stated, it is understood and
agreed as follows:
1. This Agreement shall be for a period not to exceed
one (1) year, effective December 1, 1975, and ending no later than
the last day of November 1976.
2. Exhibit A, above referred to, and attached hereto, sets
forth in detail scheduling as to dates when information is to be
furnished by ABSC, the type of information as described under
heading "Report Name". Said Exhibit A lists the estimated cost for
each type of report which ABSC agrees to furnish. For purposes of
clarification, Programming will be billed at the rate of $15. 00 per
hour, and Computer Time will be billed at the rate of $90. 00 per
metered hour. It is acknowledged by the parties hereto that
Exhibit A lists the times to accomplish each report. It is mutually
agreed that billings will be accomplished monthly by ABSC on the
basis of the costs shown on Exhibit A.
3. It is further mutually understood and agreed that in
the event Weld requires additional services or reports, other than
those listed on the schedule referred to as Exhibit A, ABSC will
separately bill Weld for such services on the basis of $15. 00 per
hour for Programming and $90. 00 per metered hour for Computer
Time. The services described on Exhibit A are defined as "Run
Cost". ABSC represents, per Exhibit A, that Run Cost for Personal
Property and Real Property Production will not exceed 97 1/2 hours
and will not exceed a Total Cost of $8, 775. 00; that On-Line Assessor
Accounting will not exceed $6, 365. 00 and On-Line Storage will cost
exactly $7, 440. 00; that Tax Accounting Production will not exceed
40 3/4 hours and the cost thereof will not exceed $3, 667. 50; that
On-Line Accounting will not exceed $18, 276. 00 and the Total Run
Cost will not exceed $44, 523. 50.
4. It is further understood and agreed by and between the
parties that in order to accomplish the reports which are described
on Exhibit A, ABSC is obliged to charge for the programming which
is hereinafter referred to as "Systems". ABSC agrees that the System
Scheduling and cost thereof will not exceed the following schedules:
Assessor's Office Research and Maintenance at $15. 00
per hour for 55 hours, or a cost of $825. 00; program charge
to provide Personal Property Listing on microfiche a cost of
$500. 00; program charge for Corporate Tax System at $15. 00
per hour for 260 hours, or a cost of $3, 900. 00; Computer Test
Time necessary for Corporate Tax System at $90. 00 per hour
for 12 hours, or a cost of $1, 080. 00. Summarizing, Corporate
Tax System shall cost the sum of $4, 980. 00. Weld County
Assessor portion of creating the Assessor On-Line System
shall be the sum of $20, 000. 00.
5. It is further understood and agreed that this Agreement
is for a term not to exceed one (1) year, as is hereinabove specified.
The parties acknowledge that if ABSC is to continue services in behalf
of Weld beyond December 1, 1976, it will be necessary for the parties
to commence negotiations for a new agreement no later than
November 1, 1976, with an agreement to be executed on or before
November 15, 1976.
6. It is further and finally understood and agreed by and
between the parties that all System Costs shall be invoiced and paid
upon completion of the System. The parties also acknowledge that
Weld will compensate to ABSC $620. 00 per month for the entire
twelve (12) months for Disk Storage as required by the Assessor
On-Line Application.

subscribed their hands on the day and year first above written.
