HomeMy WebLinkAbout790456 RESOLUTION RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE WELD COUNTY BUILDING INSPECTION DEPART- MENT TO WORK WITH THE WELD COUNTY ATTORNEY IN PROCEEDING WITH LEGAL ACTION, IF NECESSARY, AGAINST PAUL TANDIS FOR A ZONING VIOLATION. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Paul Tandi,s has applied for and been denied a building permit on real estate described as 1108 76th Avenue, Lot 18, Knaus Subdivision, 1st filing, and WHEREAS, the Department of Planning Services has informed the Board of County Commissioners that the structure on said property is in violation of the Weld County Zoning Resolution as it pertains to required setbacks which is the basis for denial of the building permit, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advis- able to authorize the Weld County Building Inspection Department to work with the Weld County Attorney in proceeding with legal action, if necessary, against Paul Tandis. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com- missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Weld County Building Inspection Department be, and hereby is, authorized to work with the Weld County Attorney in proceeding with legal action, if necessary, against Paul Tandis for a zoning violation. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 29th day of October, A.D. 1979 . ' r f) . Building permits are not transferable. Buildings must conform with plans, as submitted to the Department of Building Inspection. Any change of plans or layout must be approved prior to the changes being mode. Any change in the use or occupancy of a building or structure must be approved prior to proceeding with construction. Weld County is not liable for workmanship. In the event construction is not commenced within 60 days of the issuance of this permit, then the same is automatically void.
