Marcia,
I was able to review all the Sheriff's Office bids you supplied to me the week of the 5`s. I have met
with each division requesting vehicles and have the following recommendations;
The low bid from Champion Chevrolet Inc. of Windsor was rescinded. There was an error on the
price of the vehicle.
The 2nd low bid was from Perkins Motor City Dodge, Colorado Springs on (6) 09 Dodge Chargers
for $131,748. This bid does meet minimum bid specs.
We recommend that the bid for the civilian vehicles be awarded to Perkins Motor City Dodge in the
amount of 131,748.00.
The budget for this line item was $21,500 each or a total of $129,000.
PURCHASING NOTE: *STATE BID PRICING*
Champion Chevrolet holds the Colorado State bid ti:r $19,871 each and with the Weld County
discount the price each would he $ 18,930 for a total of Si 13,580.00.

I am providing a work sheet as a convenience, for comparison only to the
Cob State Price Agreement referenced above. Since it was my intent to bid
378930.00 and that is $941.00 price advantage extended to Weld Co. over and _
_ above that pricing which has been offered on the state bid This price is valid
only for Weld County and a red total of 6 Impalas maximum and will not be offered
