Hull' RE: USR-1679 plat The discussions regarding the future expansion of this facility were discussed from the begging with LRA and the county. We did not add the additional tanks (except for the two oil tanks) at that time due to the situation with acquiring the USR first and all the other design standards needed. I don't know why LRA did not show this on the first plat that was submitted. When I saw this plat the first time I expressly noted to LRA I wanted to make sure it was delineated there would he a symmetric expansion of the facility so I did not have to go through this process again. This facility cannot function properly without the additional tanks, what do I have to do now? Jesse L. Tanks will be evaluated on a case by case basis when proposed consistent with any other changes/additions to Use by Special Review Permits. * The fenceline shown to the east of the property on the plat is shown encroaching onto the adjacent property to the east. Mathews RE: USR-1679 plat USR Plot Plan.pdf Attached is the final layout of the facility showing all tanks that Apollo plans on installing. I talked to Jesse about adding tanks and that he needs to pull a building permit before he installs them. In Jesse's words: "I understand why the planning staff could be irritated with the addition of the two oil tanks." "I really had no choice regarding the additional oil tanks as with the facility not being complete/operating the way it should. Large slugs of hydrocarbons were hitting the two 300 bbl tanks at one time...when I say large slugs I mean 200-300 bbl at a time. With this being the case there was a huge potential for a spill...I figured precaution was in my best interest as a large spill would have been a very bad thing from an environmental stand point. Please explain this to Chris with my apologies." Upon your approval of the changes, I will print a new Mylar for recording. If you have any questions, please give me a call.
