RE: CORRECTING THE RESOLUTION DATED SEPTEMBER 12 , 1977 TO SHOW
INSTALLATION OF "STOP" SIGNS ON 5TH STREET ROAD MAKING
COUNTY ROAD NO. 43 A THRU ROAD AND REMOVAL OF THE EXISTING
STOP SIGNS ON COUNTY ROAD NO. 43.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Weld County Department of Engineering Services
has conducted a traffic count survey on County Road No. 43 at
its intersection with 5th Street Road, and has recommended to
the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
that "Stop" signs need to be installed on 5th Street Road at
the intersection of County Road No. 43 and 5th Street Road, and
make County Road No. 43 a thru road by removing the existing
"Stop" signs on County Road No. 43 at the same intersection, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied the
recommendations of the Department of Engineering Services and
has determined that said signs are necessary for the protection
of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners , Weld County, Colorado, that the Department of
Engineering Services is directed to install "Stop" signs on 5th
Street Road at the intersection with County Road No. 43 , and
further, remove the existing "Stop" signs on County Road No. 43
creating a thru road on County Road No. 43.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 19th day of
October, A.D. , 1977 .
