RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING PETITION AND AGREEMENT FOR
ANNEXATION OF A PORTION OF COUNTY ROAD 11 (ENCLAVE ANNEXATION AND
REZONE #4) - TOWN OF FREDERICK
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board was presented with a Petition and Agreement for the Annexation of
a Portion of County Road 11 (Enclave Annexation and Rezone #4) from the County of Weld, State
of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, to the Town of
Frederick, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, after review, at the request of the Town of Frederick, the Board deems it
advisable to continue consideration of said petition and agreement to March 11, 2009, at 9:00 a.m.,
to allow the Town of Frederick additional time to review the bridge maintenance reports.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Petition and Agreement for the Annexation of a Portion of County
Road 11 (Enclave Annexation and Rezone #4) from the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and
through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, to the Town of Frederick, Colorado,
be, and hereby are, continued to March 11, 2009, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 18th day of February, A.D., 2009.
