Marcia,
I was able to review all the Sheriff's Office bids you supplied to me the week of the 5`h. I have
met with each division requesting vehicles and have the following recommendation;
The low bid for the 09 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Pro Chrysler Jeep does not meet several
minimum bid specs; most importantly this vehicle contains a floor console shifter which will not
accommodate our radio and computer console.
The 2nd low bid from Lakewood Fordland does meet specs for the (2) SUVS 4X2 on the 09 Ford
Expeditions for a total cost of $45,880 for two vehicles.
We recommend awarding the bid for the SUVS for the Commanders to the 2"d low bidder,
Lakewood Fordland.
The budget for this line item was $25,000 each or a total $50,000.
PURCHASING NULL:
Local bid from Spradley-Barr was the 3111 low bid with a bid of 546,556, which is 1.5% greater
then Lakewood Fordland.
