is submitting Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety and Weld County Use By
Special Review applications for a new sand and gravel pit. The Weld County Public Works Department is
applying for a mining permit for a 160 -acre site on County -owned property located in the southeast quarter of
Section 1, Township 8 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado.
The intent of this letter is to notify you of the opportunity to provide comments regarding the mining permit.
Please submit any comments to the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety at 1313 Sherman
Street, Denver Colorado 80203 and to the Weld County Planning Department at 918 10th Street, Greeley,
Colorado.
