RE: APPROVE CERTIFYING THE NEED FOR THE PROVISION OF HEALTH CARE
SERVICES IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS WITHIN WELD COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, NCMC, Inc., as part of an application for property tax exemption to the State
Property Tax Administrator, must provide a statement from the Board of County Commissioners
as to the need for the provision of health care services at those locations within Weld County, and
WHEREAS, by Resolutions #2002-3126, #2004-2234, and #2004-2559, the Board of
County Commissioners certified the need for five locations within Weld County, and
WHEREAS, NCMC, Inc., has requested a sixth location be certified, namely, 5623 West
19th Street, Greeley, CO 80634, Weld County, Colorado, which contains a medical clinic now
operated by Banner Medical Group - Greeley LLC, which provides primary care services to patients
in Greeley.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the need for the provision of health care services in Weld County at the
property located at 5623 West 19th Street, Greeley, CO 80634, be, and hereby is, certified.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 18th day of February, A.D., 2009.
