PERMIT #1694 FOR A HOME BUSINESS (STORAGE OF CONSTRUCTION
MATERIALS - STEEL DOORS AND FRAMES) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE
DISTRICT - KEITH THOENE
A public hearing was conducted on July 29, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner William F. Garcia, Chair
Commissioner Douglas Rademacher, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Sean P. Conway - EXCUSED
Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer
Commissioner David E. Long
Also present:

The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated May 8, 2009, and duly published May 15, 2009,
in the Greeley Tribune, a public hearing was conducted on June 24, 2009, to consider the
request of Keith Thoene for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review
Permit #1694 for a Home Business (storage of construction materials - steel doors and frames)
in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. At said hearing, the Board deemed it advisable to continue
the matter to July 29, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., to allow adequate time for review of the matter by the
Planning Commission. At said hearing on July 29, 2009, Bruce Barker, County Attorney, made
this a matter of record.
Jacqueline Hatch, Department of Planning Services, stated staff is requesting that this matter be
continued to October 28, 2009, since the Planning Commission hearing was continued to
October 6, 2009. She clarified the Planning Commission hearing was continued to allow the
applicant adequate time to finish construction of the residence on the property. She further
clarified construction activities have commenced, and the Certificate of Occupancy is expected
to be issued in October, 2009.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Rademacher moved to continue the request of Keith Thoene for a Site Specific
Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1694 for a Home Business (storage of
construction materials - steel doors and frames) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, to
October 28, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Long, and it
carried unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at
10:05 a.m.
