RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD CONCERNING MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
CONCERNING UNITED WAY 2-1-1 SERVICES AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN -
UNITED WAY OF WELD COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Memorandum of Understanding
Concerning United Way 2-1-1 Services between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and
through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Weld County
Sheriff's Office, and United Way of Weld County, commencing October 1, 2009, and ending
June 30, 2010, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said memorandum, and
WHEREAS, a hearing before the Board was held on the 28th day of December, 2009, at
which time the Board deemed it advisable to continue said matter to January 4, 2010, in order to
allow adequate time for the County Attorney to modify the Memorandum of Understanding.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to January 4,
2010, at 9:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 28th day of December, A.D., 2009.
