RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Planning Commission, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Tom Holton be reappointed to said board as
an at -large representative, Bill Hall be reassigned as an at -large representative, Alexander Zauder
be appointed as the District 3 representative, to replace Paul Branham, and that Jason Maxey be
appointed as an at -large representative, to replace Bill Hall, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to reappoint Tom Holton to said board, with a
term to expire July 31, 2012, reassign Bill Hall, with a term to expire July 31, 2010, and to appoint
Alexander Zauder and Jason Maxey, with terms to expire July 31, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Tom Holton be, and hereby is, reappointed to said board, with a term to
expire July 31, 2012, that Bill Hall be, and hereby is, reassigned, with a term to expire July 31,
2010, and that Alexander Zauder and Jason Maxey be, and hereby are, appointed to the Planning
Commission, with terms to expire July 31, 2012.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 31st day of August, A.D., 2009.
