TO ABANDON AND VACATE A PORTION v ® k f r 1 6 1953
OF COUNTY ROAD NO. 87:

WHEREAS, R. 0. Pyeatt and George J. Jurgensen have submitted a petition
to the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, asking that a portion
of County Road No. 87 be abandoned and vacated, said portion of County Road No.
87 being located adjacent to property owned by the aforementioned petitioners,
and said portion of road being more particularly described as follows, to wit:
That portion of County Road No. 87, located in Range 65
West, Township 1,, North, between Sections 4 and 9,
leading to Seep Ditch (Jack Trail Ditch), a distance
of one-half mile, more or less
and,
WHEREAS, no objections to said petition for the abandonment of said
portion of County Road No. 87 have been received in the office of the Board of
County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado,
believes it to be in the best interest of Weld County to approve said petition.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners,
Weld County, Colorado, that the aforementioned portion of County Road No. 87
be, and it is hereby declared abandoned and vacated in accordance with afore-
mentioned petition by R. 0. Pyeatt and George J. Jurgensen.
The above and foregoing resolution was, on motion duly made and
seconded, adopted by the following vote: �/

GENTLEMEN: - We, the undersigned, Citizens of your
County, respectfully represent that the necessities of the
closed
public require that a public highway be cc,nstruoted, pur-
suant to and in accordance with that Resolution of the
Board of County Commissioners of the County of Weld, State
of Colorado, passed and adopted on the 12th day of October,
A.D. 1889, which resolution is recorded in Book 86 at
Page 273 of the Weld County Records.

Commissioner Andersen offered the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
BE IT RESCLVED, by the Board of County Commissioners
of Weld County, Colorado, that this Board make and ' xecute an agree—
mFit with th= ;• to Highdar Department of Colorado, obligating Weld
County, Colorado, to participate in the total costs of improvements
on State Highway No. 52 from Hudson, Colorado to Prospect Valley,
Colorado, the total amount of said improvements being 0115,000.00
of which amount Weld County's share in said improvements is 028,750.00
(4) of the total.
BE IT FURTHFP RESOLvFD, that the County's share in the
costs of improvements tc be drawn from "County Road Fund".
The resolution was seconded by Commissioner Magnuson
and the resolution adopted by the following vote:
