DATE: December 4, 2008
FROM: Lauren Light, W.C. Department of Public
Health and Environment
CASE NO.: CZ -1149 NAME: Greenman
The Weld County Department of Public Health and Environment has reviewed this
proposal. The application is to change the zoning from the Estate (E) and Commercial
(C-1) Zone District to the Agricultural (A) Zone District. The property is developed, and is
currently served by the Longs Peak Water District (tap 13518) and an individual sewage
disposal system (G19939120). Conditions and development standards that are specific to
the antique business, located on the parcel, are contained in USR-1681. We have no
objections to this rezoning.

Ms. Jacqueline Hatch
Weld County Planning Department
4209 Weld County Road 24.5
Longmont, CO 80504
Dear Ms. Hatch:
I have reviewed the submitted material pertaining to the site specific Development Plan and
Special Review Permit for a Home Business as well as material pertaining to a request for a
Change of Zone from C-1 and E to A at 13518 Weld County Road 1 in Weld County (Case
Numbers: USR-1681 and CZ -1149, Case Name: Greenman). The Fire District does not object to
the use of the property for a home antique business or the change in zone provided no change in
the current use occurs.
The Fire District understands that the garage buildings are for personal use and storage and that
the shop building is open to the public for antique sales, refinishing and repair of furniture. The
refinishing operation consists of light woodwork (repair and sanding where there is no
"manufacturing') and refinishing operation is with non -hazardous water -based materials.
We appreciate being involved in the planning process. Should you have any questions, please
contact me at (303) 772-0710.
Sincerely,
LuAnn Penfold
Fire Marshal
