RE: Terracon Work order #8
DEPARTMENT: WELD COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS DATE:
PERSON REQUESTING: Josh Holbrook, Weld County Public Works.
Brief description of the problem/issue:
Work Order No. 7 — This work order is set up to cover the testing for the 2009 construction projects that our
lab dose not have the capabilities to perform. We have selected Terracon to perform theses services under the
On -Call Geotechnical Contract. This work order will not exceed $7,500.00
What options exist for the Board? (Include consequences, impacts, costs, etc. of options)
BOCC can either approve Work Order No. 8 and continue proceeding with the work or deny approval for
Work Order No. 8
Recommendation to the Board: I recommend approval of Work Order No. 8 for Terracon under the On -Call
Geotechnical Contract.
