A public hearing was conducted on May 20, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner William F. Garcia, Chair
Commissioner Douglas Rademacher, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Sean P. Conway
Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer
Commissioner David E. Long
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Jennifer VanEgdom
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Planning Department representative, Kim Ogle
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated April 17, 2009, and duly published April 24, 2009,
in the Greeley Tribune, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Zapien Bros.
Concrete, Inc., for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1684
for a Use Permitted as a Use by Right, Accessory Use, or Use by Special Review in the
Commercial or Industrial Zone Districts (parking and storage for a concrete company) in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District. Bruce Barker, County Attorney, made this a matter of record.
Kim Ogle, Department of Planning Services, stated the Planning Commission hearing,
scheduled for May 5, 2009, was continued to June 2, 2009, at the applicant's request, therefore,
staff recommends the matter be continued to June 17, 2009, at 10:00 a.m.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Kirkmeyer moved to continue the request of Zapien Bros. Concrete, Inc., for a
Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1684 for a Use Permitted
as a Use by Right, Accessory Use, or Use by Special Review in the Commercial or Industrial
Zone Districts (parking and storage for a concrete company) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District,
to June 17, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Conway, and it
carried unanimously. There being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at
10:50 a.m.
