RE: AMENDING THE RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL USE PERMIT FOR
AN OPEN CUT MINING PERMIT FOR ADOLPH COORS COMPANY, DATED
JUNE 20, 1979.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to a public hearing held on the 20th day of
June, 1979 at the hour of 2 : 00 o' clock p.m. approved a Special
Use Permit for an open cut mining permit for Adolph Coors Com-
pany subject to certain conditions, and
WHEREAS, condition number 2 stated:
2 . "No development of the property occur until
applicant presents a road access plan, and
a construction and maintenance program on
such access roads, which is acceptable to
the Board. " and
WHEREAS, the Board wishes to approve the access to the prop-
erty for the hauling of coal as proposed by the applicant, such
access being along County Roads 18 and 59.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Resolution adopted
by the Weld County Board of County Commissioners and dated the
20th day of June, A.D. , 1979, approving a Special Use Permit for
an open cut mining permit - coal, for Adolph Coors Company, be
amended as follows:
2. No development of the property occur until
applicant presents a construction and main-
tenance program regarding the access roads,
which is acceptable to the Board.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 11th day of
July, A.D. , 1979.
