The Office of Emergency Management is requesting acceptance of the bid from Grainger
for the 80Kw generators and the 45Kw Generator, along with the 400 Amp transfer
switch. The total cost for the generators and transfer switches is $48,811.02. Grainger was
the low bid.
OEM is also recommending acceptance of the bid from Colorado Standby for the 150 Kw
Generator and the 2600 Amp transfer switch. Colorado Standby met the Bid requirements
for the generator system. The total cost is $68,101.00
Total cost for the generators and transfer switches is $116,912.02

Subject: Transfer switch for New Raymer
Monica, for the meeting tomorrow, there was a concern about the Transfer Switch that New Raymer requested. I
talked with Xavier and the Fire Chief in New Raymer, the decision was made to go with the 200 Amp transfer
Switch Grainger Bid. Initially New Raymer stated they wanted a 400 Amp, but the voltage did not match for the
bid. So the only thing that is different is the New Raymer will receive a 200 amp transfer switch for a cost of
1,166.23 instead of 2905.87.
PS I also sent Don a copy of our plan again, I'm not sure but I think he received an old copy; I up dated the EOP to
include the phy. addresses of the listed shelters.
