RE: APPROVE CANCELLATION AND RELEASE OF COLLATERAL FOR SITE PLAN
REVIEW, SPR #399 - JOHN AND EULALIE LAURIDSON / EULALIE LAURIDSON
TRUST, CIO TOM LAURIDSON
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2006, the Department of Planning Services staff approved the
application of John and Eulalie Lauridson / Eulalie Lauridson Trust, 14570 Young Drive,
Brighton, Colorado 80601, c/o Tom Lauridson, P.O. Box 1090, Eastlake, Colorado 80614, for
Gerard's Bakery, on the following described real estate, to wit:
Lot 2, Block 1, Amendment to the Del Camino
Center PUD; being located in the W1/2 NW1/4 of
Section 14, Township 2 North, Range 68 West of
the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on June 25, 2007, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, approved an Improvements Agreement According to Policy Regarding Collateral for
Improvements (Private Road Maintenance) between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by
and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, and John and Eulalie
Lauridson / Eulalie Lauridson Trust, c/o Tom Lauridson, with terms and conditions being as
stated in said agreement, and accepted check #704, in the amount of $97,856.00, from St.
Vrains, LLC, P.O. Box 1090, Eastlake, Colorado 80614, and
WHEREAS, on November 10, 2008, the Board cancelled and released a portion of the
collateral in the amount of $83,177.60, and accepted replacement collateral in the form of
check #510, in the amount of $14,678.40; retaining fifteen (15) percent for a one-year warranty
period, and
WHEREAS, staff from the Weld County Departments of Public Works and Planning
Services have conducted a visual inspection and, along with the Weld County Attorney,
recommend release of said collateral.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that check #510, in the amount of $14,678.40 be, and hereby is, canceled
and released.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Clerk to the Board be, and hereby is,
directed to return said collateral to the appropriate issuing party.

Staff from the Department of Public Works conducted a field inspection in October 2009 and
determined that the property was in compliance with all transportation elements as stated in their
referral dated November 4, 2009. Planning Services inspected the site on May 5, 2009 and
October 2009 and determined that all non -transportation related items had been completed and
were acceptable.
The Weld County Attorney, the Department of Public Works and the Department of Planning
Services, have determined that Personal Check # 510 from John Lauridson/Eulalie
Lauridson/Tom Lauridson for Gerard's Bakery may be released in full.
