RE: ACTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS REGARDING VIOLATION
ZCV #0800365 AGAINST ELVERNA BURCHFIELD TRUSTEE, SHERRY ROSE, AND
RAYMOND AND LISA COLLINS FOR VIOLATION OF THE WELD COUNTY CODE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Elverna Burchfield Trustee, Sherry Rose, and Raymond and Lisa Collins,
ZCV #0800365, are allegedly in violation of the Weld County Code, and
WHEREAS, despite efforts by the Planning staff to resolve said matter, the violation has
not been corrected, and
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of January, 2009, a public hearing was held before the Board
of County Commissioners for the purpose of hearing testimony relating to said violation, and
WHEREAS, Donald Jones, property manager for Elverna Burchfield Trustee and Sherry
Rose, and Raymond Collins, property owner, were present at said hearing, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to continue said violation until February 10, 2009,
to allow adequate time for staff to investigate the correct property owners, to include Raymond and
Lisa Collins, Everett Logan, and the Town of Firestone; and to serve proper notification of the
violation; also to remove Elverna Burchfield Trustee and Sherry Rose from all action, since they
are not the owners of said property and have not been involved in any way with said violation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that ZCV #0800365 be, and hereby is, continued until February 10, 2009, to
allow adequate time for staff to research and correct ownership of said property and provide proper
notification of the violation hearing date, to include Raymond and Lisa Collins, Everett Logan, and
the Town of Firestone; also, to remove all action against Elverna Burchfield and Sherry Rose, who
are not the property owners and have no interest or claim to the above said property and are not
a part of this violation.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
