To Whom It May Concem:
The Town of Keenesburg wishes to terminate the building inspection services agreement with
Weld County. As per our agreement, we are extending a sixty day advance notice and wish to
discontinue our participation in your building services effective August 1, 2009. We would like to
request that the county complete the inspection services on any open permits submitted prior to
August 1, 2009.
The largest factor in this decision was based upon the tumaround time offered by the county on
building permits. The town has found that it will be more beneficial for our residents to obtain
these services from a private provider. We greatly appreciate the services that you have
provided over the past several years. Thank you.
