RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS AND REAPPOINTMENTS TO FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Scott Pruett be appointed to said board, to
replace K.C. Hatch; that Brittany Van Riper be appointed to replace Rose Esparza; and that Teri
Segelke be appointed to replace Reid Graves, all with terms to expire September 30, 2012, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended to reappoint Laurie MacDonald, Stuart Gebauer,
and Jennifer Blandin, as the 4-H Youth Executive Council representative, all with terms expiring
September 30, 2012.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that Scott Pruett, Brittany Van Riper, and Teri Segelke, be, and hereby are,
appointed to the Fair Board, all with terms to expire September 30, 2012.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Laurie MacDonald, Stuart Gebauer, and Jennifer Blandin be, and hereby are,
reappointed to the Fair Board, all with terms to expire September 30, 2012.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 5th day of October, A.D., 2009.
