RE: APPROVE QUIT CLAIM MINERAL DEED AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - ORR
RESOURCES, LLC
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Quit Claim Mineral Deed from the County
of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
to Orr Resources, LLC, 1813 61st Avenue, Suite 200, Greeley, Colorado 80634, commencing upon
full execution, with further terms and conditions being as stated in said Quit Claim Deed; said
property being described as:
A 30 -foot wide strip along the east side of the E1/2SE1/4 of
Section 31, Township 6 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., and
a 30 -foot wide strip along the west side of the SW1/4SW1/4 of
Section 32, Township 6 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M., Weld
County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said Quit Claim Mineral
Deed, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Quit Claim Mineral Deed from the County of Weld, State of Colorado,
by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, to Orr Resources, LLC, be,
and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said Quit Claim Mineral Deed.

QUIT CLAIM MINERAL DEED
THIS QUIT CLAIM MINERAL DEED is made this 31'` day of August, 2009, by
and between the County of Weld, Colorado, a body corporate and politic of the State of
Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, 915 10th
Street, Greeley, CO 80631 ("Weld County"), as Grantor, and On Resources, LLC, 1813
61" Avenue. Suite 200. Greeley, CO 80634 ("ORR"). as Grantee.
1. CONVEYANCE. For $10 and other valuable consideration, the receipt and
sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, Weld County does hereby quit claim
and set over unto ORR all of Grantor's right, title and interest in and to all oil, gas,
and other minerals on. in, under. and that may be produced from the lands in Weld
County. Colorado, more particularly described on Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
2. NO SURFACE USE. No surface operations of any kind in connection with the
extraction of oil, gas and other minerals shall be conducted from the lands described
on Exhibit A.
3. NO WARRANTY. This conveyance is made without any warranty of title, express
or implied.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I. William F. Garcia, Chairman of the Board of County
Commissioners of said County of Weld. State of Colorado, on behalf of said County and
by virtue of the Resolution made by said Board of County Commissioners on the 31s` day
of August, 2009. have hereunto set my hand and affixed the seal of said County this 3151
day of August, 2009. for the uses and purposes therein set forth.

Hi Bruce:
We are asking, on behalf of Orr Resources LLC for another quit claim mineral deed similar to
the one the County recently quit claimed covering a 30' strip in the SW/4NW/4 of Section 31,
Township 6 North, 66 West (you worked with Bill on that one). We are requesting a conveyance
covering a 30' strip along the entire East side of the E/2SE/4 of Section 31 -6n -66w; and a
30' strip along the entire West side of the SW/45W/4-32-6n-66w from the County in favor of
Orr Resources LLC.
I have attached a copy of the deed in favor of the County that created the title issue.
Please call if you have any questions. Otherwise, please keep me appraised of the status of
the conveyance.
