RESOLUTION _ I ' RE: AMENDMENT TO SECTION 3.14 OF TOE WELD COUNTY ZONING RESOLUTION REQUIRING ADDITIONAL FRONTYARD SETBACK IN ALL ZONE DISTRICTS. sn 4 r WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, ¢•l Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Rome . u\ ti Rule Charter, is vested withths authority of administering the ` e affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and / .o WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, n .4 Colorado conducted a public hearing in its Chambers on the first 0 o floor of the Weld County Centennial Center on April 19, 1978 for the purpose of considering a proposed amendment to Section 3.14 - y of the Weld County Zoning Resolution requiring additional front- i districts to meet the future right-of- , yard setback all zone . way needs as shown in the Weld County Throughfare Plan, and WHEREAS, the Board considered the recommendations of the Weld • County Planning Commission and the statements of the Weld County • Department of Planning Services Staff in this matter, and WHEREAS, the Board finds that it is in the best, interests of Weld County to adopt the proposed-amendment to Section 3.14 of the Weld County Zoning Resolution, as submitted by the Weld County Plan- . ning Commission. - . If the abutting public road is not desig- nated to be upgraded to a higher classification as 4 - defined by the Weld County Thoroughfare Plan, the front yard setback shall be measured /tom the existing right-of-way line of the public road. If the abutting public road is designated to be upgraded to a higher classification as defined by the Weld County Thorough- fare Plan necessitating additional right-of-way, then the setback shall be measured from the future right-' of-way line. The future right-of-way line is determined by adding - J the distance' of the additional needed right-of-way to • • the existing right-of-way line. The following is a list of the right-of-way needed for road designations as defined in the Weld County Thor- oughfare Plan: ';.j . • a: Arterial.or Rural Arterial - 100' ROW .b.
