A public hearing was conducted on August 19, 2009, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:

Commissioner David E. Long
Also present:

The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated July 13, 2009, and duly published July 16, 2009,
in the Windsor Beacon, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Dennis and
Denise Coyne for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1699
for a Use Permitted as a Use by Right, Accessory Use, or Use by Special Review in the
Commercial or Industrial Zone Districts (dog agility and dog obedience training for 35 dogs) and
a Kennel for five (5) dogs in the A (Agricultural) Zone District. Bruce Barker, County Attorney,
made this a matter of record.
Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services, indicated the applicant has requested a
continuance of the matter until September 2, 2009, in order for the matter to be heard by a full
quorum of the Board.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Kirkmeyer moved to continue the request of Dennis and Denise Coyne for a Site
Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1699 for a Use Permitted as a
Use by Right, Accessory Use, or Use by Special Review in the Commercial or Industrial Zone
Districts (dog agility and dog obedience training for 35 dogs) and a Kennel for five (5) dogs in
the A (Agricultural) Zone District, to September 2, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. The motion was
seconded by Commissioner Long, and it carried unanimously. There being no further
discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:05 a.m.
