Action of the Board Concerning Use by Special Review Permit, USR25-0011, for
Open Mining (topsoil) outside of subdivisions and historic townsites in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District—WETCO WCR 49 HWY 34, LLC
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, held a public
hearing on the 17th day of December, 2025, at the hour of 10:00 a.m., in the Chambers
of the Board for the purpose of hearing the application of WETCO WCR 49 HWY 34, LLC,
2055 1st Avenue, Greeley, Colorado 80631, for Use by Special Review Permit,
USR25-0011, for Open Mining (topsoil) outside of subdivisions and historic townsites in
the A (Agricultural) Zone District, on the following described real estate, to-wit:
Lot B of Corrected Recorded Exemption, RE-2623; being part of the
N1/2 NE1/4 of Section 24, Township 5 North, Range 65 West of the
6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado
Whereas, the Board heard all of the testimony and statements of those present and
reviewed the request of staff for a continuance, and having been fully informed, finds that
this request be approved and the matter should be continued to February 18, 2026, at
10:00 a.m., to allow the case to be heard by the Planning Commission on February 3,
2026.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that the abovementioned matter be, and hereby is, continued to February 18,
2026, at 10:00 a.m.

The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, approved the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 17th day of December, A.D., 2025:
