Dear Commissioners,
I would like to respectfully request your permission to make use of a
storage closet located in the projection booth at the rear of the first floor
hearing room in the Centennial Center.
Being assigned to cover Weld County government, my job requires that
I use a typewriter and telecopier to transmit my stories to the Times—Call
office in Longmont. Since I use these two instruments daily and have not
office in Greeley, I have been keeping them in my car and then bringing them
into the building everyday. I hesitate to leave them unattended over night
in the projection booth, since they are both expensive pieces of equipment.
If I could possibly leave them in the same closet in which the county's
tape recorder is kept, they would be secure and I wouldn't have to move them
to and from my car each day. With this arrangement, I would need to make use
of the key to the closet, which I believe is kept hanging in the commissioners'
reception area on third floor.
Your consideration of this matter is sincerely appreciated.
Thank you,
Nancy
