REMARKS: During June, 1977, the overall caseload of the Department increased slightly
due to the summer Food Stamp caseload. Thirty-nine additional families purchased stamps
during June.
The Aid to Dependent Children caseload decreased by 10 families with 92 individuals within
these families. As part of this total , households with unemployed fathers decreased from
82 to 76.
Other caseloads remained stable.
Public Assistance expenditures (excluding Old Age Pension) for June were $500,603. This
amount was $30,638 higher than the previous month and $12 ,313 higher than the same month
in 1976.
