RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE ASSIGNMENT OF TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE TO KIVA PROPERTIES I,
RLLLP, AND AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board now is the owner of a certain Tax Lien Sale Certificate, the
information concerning which is attached hereto as Exhibit"A" and made a part hereof,which is for
the value of the 2008 taxes, and
WHEREAS, the subject property is a mobile home located at: GR 12812 IMPS ONLY MH PT
NW4 6 5 65 MBL HOME, 1717 5th Street, Greeley, Weld County, Colorado 80631, and
WHEREAS, on September 29, 2010, Kiva Properties I, RLLLP, paid to the Weld County
Treasurer the total sum of One Hundred Seven and 91/100 Dollars($107.91)for the purchase of the
Tax Sale Certificate for the property listed and described on Exhibit "A,"which amount represents
the value of the 2008 base tax, plus delinquent interest from May 1, 2009, through November 2,
2009; an advertising fee; an internet fee; a rebilling fee; redemption interest from November 2, 2009,
through September 30, 2010; and an assignment fee; and
WHEREAS, the Board has the authority to assign the Tax Lien Sale Certificate in this
manner pursuant to Section 39-11-120, C.R.S., effective immediately.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the Weld County Treasurer be and hereby is directed to prepare a Tax Lien
Sale Certificate for the property listed on Exhibit "A" for assignment to Kiva Properties I, RLLLP.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized to
sign said assignment and any other associated necessary documentation to affect said assignment.
