RE: 1979 Conservation Trust Fund Monies
Dear Mr. Dunbar:
The Town of Frederick has annexed a sub-division of
approximately 40 acres for residential development.
Included in the 40 acres is the area which is
dedicated to the town for parks, open areas, etc.
The Town Board is in the initial planning stages
for development of a park to serve the newly
acquired area. This includes site work, irrigation
systems, grass areas, shrubbery and landscaping,
picnic tables, and playground equipment. Since the
location has been in an open area for so many years,
the town will have to start from "scratch" so to
speak.
Therefore, the Board is requesting the amount of
$5,100.00 to be considered by you as a share in
your 1979 allocations. As the town's share to be
committed to the area, with each building permit
issued, the town has a $100.00 park fee established.
The developers plan to build 40 homes during 1979.
We have previously established our Conservation
Trust Fund which will meet your requirements.
Any consideration you can give the above request
for funding during 1979 will be appreciated.
Sincerely,
/214. )224,46L/
