The above-mentioned property was in the path of the tornado that occurred on May 22, 2008. This area
mostly included siding and window replacement repairs from the tornado. The assessor's office was
notified the beginning of September, 2010, that the above-mentioned property was deemed unlivable
from the May 22, 2008, tornado.
An inspection of the home was completed on September 13, 2010. Upon inspection and speaking with
the homeowner, it does appear there were structural damages to the home due to the tornado. The
homeowner also explained that her home was red tagged, which was the indicator put on homes to
indicate that the home was unlivable, due to damages from the tornado.
Russ Weber with Safebuilt was contacted as they were handling the inspection and determination of the
different levels of damage from the May 22, 2008,tornado. Russ did indicate, that at the time of the
inspection on May 22, 2008, in the evening, that the home located at 323 North Shore Circle, Windsor,
CO 80550, account R10096196,was deemed unlivable due to structural damage incurred from the
tornado. At this time, Russ also indicates that no repairs have been made to the home and would still
be considered unlivable.
