PERMIT#1756 FOR A KENNEL (UP TO 25 DOGS AND ONE (1) CAT) IN THE
A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT-JAMES AND LORI MEINING
A public hearing was conducted on December 29, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., with the following
present:
Commissioner Douglas Rademacher, Chair
Commissioner Barbara Kirkmeyer, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Sean P. Conway - EXCUSED
Commissioner William F. Garcia - EXCUSED
Commissioner David E. Long
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Jennifer VanEgdom
County Attorney, Bruce Barker
Planning Department representative, Chris Gathman
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated November 10, 2010, and duly published
November 17, 2010, in the Fort Lupton Press, a public hearing was conducted to consider the
request of James and Lori Meining, for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special
Review Permit #1756 for a Kennel (up to 25 dogs and one (1) cat) in the A (Agricultural) Zone
District. Bruce Barker, County Attorney, made this a matter of record.
Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services, stated the applicants have requested a
continuance of the matter to January 12, 2011, to allow the matter to be reviewed by a full
quorum of the Board.
No public testimony was offered concerning this matter.
Commissioner Long moved to continue the request of James and Lori Meining for a Site
Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1756 for a Kennel (up to 25
dogs and one (1) cat) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, to January 12, 2011, at 10:00 a.m.
The motion was seconded by Commissioner Kirkmeyer, and it carried unanimously. There
being no further discussion, the hearing was completed at 10:05 a.m.
